The Merrick pet food line provides natural, nutritious, real, and quality food made in a Texas home kitchen for over 30 years. As a long-term design partner for Merrick Pet Care, the Enlisted Design agency helped elevate the brand and its products' visuals to establish a platform for transforming packaging.
The main considerations included smooth brand transformation without causing confusion among consumers as well as elevating the brand's core message.
It was also important to clearly communicate the new looks of the brand to old and new consumers, taking into account the brand's history.
We simplified the layout so that it stands out on the shelf more, while still maintaining a bold and modern appearance. On the clean kitchen counter, a display of nutritious and aesthetically appealing food ingredients is provided to support this belief.
